Bangalore Nano, after five successful editions, emerged as the most sought after Nanoscience & Nanotechnology forum for its stakeholders. Last edition witnessed the surge in the number of participants not only from India but also International Community, reflecting the popularity of the event across Industry Leaders, International Trade Delegations, R&D Fraternity, Academia, Policy Makers and Investor giving an excellent platform for knowledge-sharing, networking and business. The event's success has shown that Nanotech is no longer nano, but is mega to all its stakeholders. It had successfully laid down the use of nanotechnology applications in various walks of life.
The stage has been set for the revolution in nanotechnology to take a BIGGER leap. Hence the Department of IT, BT and S&T, Government of Karnataka under the able guidance of Vision Group on Nanotechnology led by Prof. C.N.R. Rao, FRS, National Research Professor; Linus Pauling Research Professor; Honorary President, Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR) decided to expand its horizons by rechristening Bangalore Nano as Bangalore INDIA NANO.
The 6th edition of Bangalore INDIA NANO will be held from 4th to 6th of December 2013 at Hotel The Lalit Ashok, Bangalore. As Nanotechnology is paving the way for a revolution, abundant opportunities will follow making an impact on civilization. Hence the focal theme for the event is aptly chosen as "Nano Horizons."
Asia's biggest nanotechnology event will feature an exhibition and conference sessions addressed by internationally acclaimed speakers and experts discussing a range of issues pertaining to research, technology development, skills requirement, institutions, risks issues, regulatory & governance structure, Investment and collaborations between Academia, R&D & Industry. Bangalore INDIA NANO 2013 will also feature a Pre-Conference Tutorial Session on the 4th of December 2013 for the delegates which will offer a preview on latest trends of Nanotechnology.
