Abstract:
The Faculty of Environmental Sciences of Iran's Tarbiat Modarres University in association with the Republic of Korea is due to hold an educational workshop based on nanotechnology on October 2-3, 2012.
The workshop will be held at the venue of Tarbiat Modarres University in order to develop regional and international cooperation in the field of nanotechnology.
Among the objectives of the educational workshop, mention can be made of interaction and idea exchange between scientists, researchers, and university students in various fields of nanotechnology, getting familiar with the latest scientific and research achievements, discussing challenges and solutions, and making scientific cooperation with the Republic of Korea in the field of nanotechnology.
The scopes of the educational workshop have been listed hereafter.
o Nanophotonics and nanoelectronics;
o Nanobiotechnology and nanomedicine;
o Applications of nanotechnology in energy;
Dr. Seyed Shamsoddin Mohajerzadeh and Dr. Ali Afzali Kusha from University of Tehran, Dr. Hossein Naderimanesh and Dr. Mohammad Kazem Moravej Farshi from Tarbiat Modarres University, Dr. Mohammad Reza Ja'fari from Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, Dr. Nima Taqaviniya from Sharif University of Technology, and Dr. Mohammad Ali Oqabiyan from Tehran University of Medical Sciences will address the audience on the scopes of the workshop.
Among the invited Korean speakers of the workshop, mention can be made of Dr. Jaejin Lee, Prof. Sangin Kim, Prof. Sun-il MHO, Prof. Fabian Rotermund, Dr. Eun Duck PARK, Prof. Ki Dong Park, Seung-Joo KIM, and Dr. Hwan Myung Kim.
