Home > Press > China to Host Iran National Day of Nanotechnology Next Week
Abstract:
Secretary of Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council (INIC) Dr. Saeed Sarkar announced that Iran’s National Day of Nanotechnology will be held in China next week.
Dr. Sarkar underscored that National Nanotechnology Day's goal is to introduce Iran's technology to the Chinese and use China as a platform to enter the global markets and offer the country’s nano-products to the world through China.
Noting that 10 Iranian nanotechnology companies will participate in the event in China, he stated that one of the goals pursued by Iran-China cooperation in the field of nanotechnology is to pave way for developed Iranian nanotechnology products to be incorporated in the Chinese industries.
"Therefore, China’s investment in Iranian technologies could be a positive step towards our progress,” Dr. Sarkar said.
He also added that Iran will hold a meeting with a number of industrialists in China to set the stage for further cooperation with that country.
Earlier in October, Iran Nanotechnology Educational Laboratories Network held an educational workshop in Suzhou, China, to introduce the capable student laboratories and train the Chinese teachers.
Iran Nanotech China Center (INCC) started its work in May 2015 in order to extend cooperation in the field of nanotechnology between Iran and China.
