Abstract:
Industrial Nanotech, Inc. (Pink Sheets:INTK), an emerging global leader in nanoscience solutions, announced today that the Company's exclusive distributor for Turkey, Kolorgen Ltd., has completed an agreement with Coats Bulgaria EOOD for the application of the Company's Nansulate® patented thermal insulation coatings to increase energy efficiency in their plant.

Industrial Nanotech, Inc. Announces Energy Saving Project with Textile Manufacturer, Coats Bulgaria EOOD

USA and Turkey | Posted on January 12th, 2010

Coats Bulgaria has approved application of Nansulate® Translucent High Heat and Nansulate® EPX to all their dyeing machinery, steam collectors, steam valves, heat exchangers and hot water pipes. The project began in December 2009, and the first order for the project has been delivered. This is the second Coats textile plant to use Nansulate®.

Eng. Emil Dinev, Maintenance Supervisor for Coats Bulgaria answered questions on why they chose Nansulate®, "The reason was our desire to decrease energy costs by using Nansulate to save money in the future. We know Nansulate to be ecologically clean, i.e. `green technology', it can be applied easily to prevent corrosion, and it does not occupy additional space. (We are) simply replacing our current insulation materials, some of which are dangerous to human health. Energy saving is a very important issue for Coats Bulgaria because it affects the environment and reduces harmful emissions into the atmosphere and protects the global climate from global warming, and also provides comfort at the workplace and saves a lot of money."

"Kolorgen has been working with Coats throughout 2009 to continue to introduce Nansulate® technology to many of the Coats facilities," stated Francesca Crolley, V.P. Business Development, Industrial Nanotech, Inc. "With the strength of energy saving data from their own plants, as well as that from others in their industry, we are now seeing more of these projects materialize from that work. Nansulate offers substantial energy savings for manufacturers. In 2008 one manufacturing client alone saved over $460,000 by installing Nansulate coating on their equipment at a product cost of only $200,000. As companies continue to invest in cost saving initiatives, we expect Nansulate to be a key product they will use to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions."

Coats Plc is the world's largest sewing thread and needlecraft supplies manufacturer, processor and distributor, with 22,000 employees in 71 countries around the world.
