Abstract:
Nanotech has been sullied by apocalyptic visions of self-assembling robots turning all matter on Earth into grey goo, as well as overly-optimistic timetables for the arrival of all those autonomous molecular robots that were supposed to travel through our bloodstream and cure our ills.
