Home > Press > Teijin Receives Grand Award at nano tech 2013
![]() |
Abstract:
Teijin Limited
Teijin presented advanced nano materials, including polyester, aramid and carbon nanofibers, as well as silicon ink and paste, plus a wide range of prospective applications for life sciences, energy efficiency, air purification, water filters, energy resources and apparel. The award recognizes the high potential of Teijin's technologies and their wide-ranging applications.
The nano tech Grand Awards commend innovative, pioneering nanotechnologies. Awardees are selected based on inspections of each exhibitor's booth by members of the nano tech executive committee and judges. In addition to recognizing companies, organizations and universities that are contributing to the nanotechnology industry, the awards help to further these technologies by clarifying technical potential and market needs.
Looking ahead, Teijin will continue to propose new solutions through its development of nanofibers and other nanotechnologies.
Nano tech, which is in its 12th year and now the world's biggest international exhibition of its kind, exhibits nanotechnologies and related topics, including materials and knowhow for fabrication, evaluation and measurement. Results from the latest nanotech research are also presented at the conference.
