Abstract:
The European Commission has published a call for proposals entitled 'NMP - SMALL 2013'. It is part of the latest set of calls published under the EU's Seventh Framework Programme (FP7). 
The call has an indicative budget of EUR 82 million. It is part of the broader Nanoscience, Nanotechnologies, Materials and New Production Technologies (NMP) programme 2013, which focuses on smart and sustainable growth for a greener European industry and covers the whole spectrum of industrial research activities. 
NMP SMALL 2013 encompasses seven topics. They range from nano-sensors for environmental monitoring to materials solutions for durable energy-harvesters, tools to assess resource efficiency along the industry value chain and innovative materials for photovoltaic cells.
