Mr. Wright joined GCR from Fidelity Investments, where he was one of the most senior technology analysts. Mr. Wright has been recognized by Institutional Investor in its 'Best of the Buy-side' ranking that polls over 400 research professionals across the Street, and has won the top honor across the entire technology sector over the past two years (2007 and 2008). Specifically, over the past three years, Mr. Wright's Analyst Model Portfolio at Fidelity generated over 1,500 basis points of cumulative relative outperformance.

Prior to joining Fidelity Investments, Mr. Wright was a semiconductor equipment analyst at CIBC World Markets. During his tenure, Mr. Wright was recognized for producing some of the most comprehensive research in his sector, specifically on the back end of the industry.

Mr. Wright started his professional career at Prudential Volpe in San Francisco as an M&A analyst and gained transaction experience on several technology deals. Mr. Wright holds a bachelor's degree from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

Rani Jarkas, Chairman and Managing Director of GC Research Ltd. said, "Peter is well-respected by the buy-side and sell-side and has substantive relationships with PMs, analysts and companies. Peter is different than many other analysts in that he is attuned to clients' needs and genuinely committed to identifying unique investment opportunities. We are delighted to have him join our team and to start servicing our clients."

"The difficult economic environment over the past two years has forced nearly every bulge-bracket firm and even the largest institutional managers to reduce the resources dedicated to equity research. I see an increasing need for GC Research Ltd., a highly-focused technology boutique research firm, to offer differentiated and comprehensive ways of analyzing and evaluating investment opportunities across the ever-changing technology landscape. I am specifically, grateful to have the opportunity to continue to build on the first-rate reputation that GC Research Ltd. has built over the past several years in the emerging nanotechnology space," said Mr. Wright.
