Green Cleaning Products Prevent Salt Corrosion on Concrete

Woburn, MA | Posted on August 3rd, 2010

Daimer Industries Inc.®, established as a supplier of green cleaning products to public works organizations, is shipping Eco-Green® Salt XTerminator® Concrete Protection Formula. These green chemicals remove salt from precast and re-enforced concrete structures, such as roads, bridges, and parking garages.

"In the winter, de-icing chemicals can attack concrete and the metal that reinforces it," explained Matthew Baratta, a Daimer.com spokesman for green cleaning products. "Our new planet-friendly formula removes salt before corrosion sets in - this can save public works professionals time, money and aggravation."

Green Cleaning Product Protects Concrete

Salt XTerminator® Concrete Protection Formula is a new addition to Daimer®'s Eco-Green® cleaning products line for public works transportation operations. The product is composed of plant-based, non-toxic green chemicals that penetrate concrete pores, flush out salt, and allow for easy removal and clean up.

This formulation, designed for cold weather applications, is safe to apply several times each winter. The product is composed of green chemicals that biodegrade rapidly without harming animals, humans or the environment. Eco-Green® technology has an established record of safety, as noted by the chemical hazard chart of the NFPA.

The green chemicals included in Salt XTerminator® Concrete Protection Formula are based on Daimer®'s Micro-Blasting® nano-chemistry that can penetrate the smallest concrete pores and disperse de-icing salts.

The product can be used in conjunction with Eco-Green® Sub Zero Cleaner at temperatures as low as -30°F.

More Cleaning Products for Transportation

Recently, Daimer® introduced a line public works cleaning products for transportation applications. That line includes green chemicals for vehicle windshields and glass, and Salt XTerminator® Corrosion Prevention Formula that protects metallic surfaces, machinery and vehicles from sea and road salt.
