Save Diesel with "Eco Neev" receives favourable response from the Industry

Noida, Uttar Pradesh | Posted on May 5th, 2010

This new nanotech based product has been offered as a test case to a number of Indian industries and State governments, and has received overwhelming response. Save diesel by 10% by simply adding Eco-Neev to your diesel consuming machine. Eco-Neev will surely add to your savings, this all will be done by reducing your expenses on diesel by 10%.

As a test case, Tata Steel had used Eco Neev to their HEMM like excavators of West Bokaro Collieries. The successful trial showed a fuel economy improvement of the excavators by 7.2%. Moreover, huge improvement was also observed in particulate emission (67% reduction), carbon monoxide (50% reduction) and carbon dioxide (50% reduction). According to an official memo by the Himachal Road Transport Corporation, it was observed that the overall fuel efficiency of the buses where Eco Neev was used, increased by over 6%.

Eco Neev has been developed by Nanotech Solutions, a unit of Nand IPL, in partnership with Oxonica, a leading Nanotechnology research company based in Oxford, U.K. It is a patented diesel fuel additive that not only reduces fuel consumption, but also harmful emissions. Eco-Neev can be simply poured into individual fuel tanks (the dosage quantity is in the ration of 1L of Eco-Neev to 4000 L of Diesel), and it disperses easily. Use of Eco Neev can reduce fuel consumption by 5-15%. Environmentally, it reduces the emission of harmful gases by 10% and reduces smoke and particulate matters by 25%. As carbon deposits are significantly reduced, engine life is enhanced.

According to Mr. Kumar Binit, Co-founder and Executive Director of Nand Ipl: "Tata Steel West Bokaro has already confirmed 2 yrs contract for supply of Eco-Neev and modalities of the contrat is being worked out. We are also in discussion with other large company's who has a large consumption of diesel/HFO. Talks are also on with a number of State governments and public and private organizations. We are sure that Eco Neev will soon become an indispensable part of transport fuels in India."

India spends maximum of its foreign earnings on importing crude oil for meeting its growing energy demand. On the other hand, Global warming is the looming concern today. CO2 is the largest contributor to the phenomenon of global warming and petroleum products are the largest source of CO2 emission into the environment. CO2 cannot be stopped being emitted from burning of petroleum products, but it certainly can be reduced to a great extent by way of efficient utilization of these products. There has been a concerted campaign by a number of national and international bodies against the emission of harmful gases and for fuel efficiency. In fact such bodies have called upon the government of India to bring in legislation for mandatory fuel efficiency standards for vehicles. In such a scenario, it is imperative to use products like Eco Neev.

A a recent study conducted by The Indian Institute of Science finds that compared internationally, India is about 20 years behind when it comes to nanotechnology innovations and research. Nand Ipl is geared up to bridge such a divide. It is research oriented, and technically sound - using the latest available technology. With the commercialization of Nand Ipl's products India will witness a business resurgence that is environmentally conscious.

Further to this NandIpl is planning to collaborate with IIT Delhi to start some research work there for commercialization based on Nanotechnology.
