Green Earth Technologies Airs First G-OIL(TM) TV Spot During American Le Mans Series At Long Beach

Stamford, CT | Posted on April 19th, 2010

Green Earth Technologies (Pink Sheets: GETG), announced their first ever G-OIL™ television commercial which aired on Saturday, April 17th during SPEED TV's live coverage of the American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patron at Long Beach. The 30-second spot was produced by Alliance, a division of Grey Group and GET's AOR for marketing and public relations.

The animated spot is voiced by Tom Wopat of "Dukes of Hazzard" fame and highlights G-OIL, the "official motor oil of the American Le Mans Series (ALMS) and the International Motor Sports Association (IMSA)." G-OIL is the world's first and only bio-based and ultimate biodegradable motor oil approved by the American Petroleum Institute.

The commercial also features the G-OIL Oreca-Courage manufactured FLM-09 racing car for the newly formed Green Earth Team Gunnar (GETG), the first ALMS team to run on environment-safe oil. The car, which races on G-OIL, took to the tracks at Long Beach for the American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patron and took top honors, the first victory for the team and drivers Gunnar Jeannette and Elton Julian. In addition to being first in class, Team GETG placed fifth overall.

"The message of the commercial bears the question 'Can changing your motor oil really change the world?' And our answer is YES. We believe that this new G-OIL TV spot breaks ground for advertising 'green' products and we are so delighted to premiere the ad on SPEED TV during Earth Month," said Jeffrey Loch, Founder and Chief Marketing Officer of Green Earth Technologies. "The animation is top notch and the transformation of a car using G-OIL into the GETG racing car is like nothing I've ever seen before. We hope to wow consumers and show that if Green Earth Team Gunnar can race on G-OIL, your car can run on it too."
