New Green Chemicals Protect Windshields and Repel Rain for Clear Vision

Woburn, MA | Posted on February 4th, 2010

Daimer Industries, Inc.®, which provides green cleaning formulations for vehicles to customers worldwide, introduced Eco-Green® Rain Repellent & Glass Guard, the first plant/bio-based glass protector and rain repellent. The new formula helps improve visibility during inclement weather.

The biodegradable formulation is part of a recently introduced line of environmentally-friendly windshield washer fluid solutions that includes ready-to-use (RTU) and concentrated formulations for warm and cold weather.

Windshield Protection, Better Visibility

The formulation is part of Daimer®'s Eco-Green® line for vehicles. The products include green chemicals based on vegetables compounds that contain no volatile organic compounds (VOCs) or hazardous solvents. Eco-Green® products biodegrade almost completely within a month, sooner than many competitors. The products also provide maximum safety, according to ratings listed by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).

Eco-Green® green chemicals use a proprietary Micro-Blasting® technology, based on a nano design. The technology uses tiny particles to pierce the carbon bonds of dirt and grease.

The particles also provide a protective coating on windshields. As a result, the rain repellent formulation repels rain, sleet and snow and forces water to bead up, instead of clinging to the glass. Rain Repellent & Glass Guard also prevents the adherence of bugs and dirt. The technology is particularly useful for night driving during inclement weather.

Like all Eco-Green® green chemicals and windshield products, Rain Repellent & Glass Guard will not damage car wax, vehicle paint, plastics or rubber.

More Green Chemicals for Vehicles

Daimer®'s Eco-Green® line of green chemicals for vehicles includes more than a dozen products, such as: Windshield Wash, Heavy-Duty Car Wash, Carpet Care, Upholstery Cleaner, Adhesive & Ink Remover, Ultra-Power™ Super Duty Degreaser, Multi-Purpose Hard Surface Cleaner, Glass and Multi Surface Cleaner.
