Abstract:
QD Vision, Inc. announced today that Tongfang Global, LTD (Shenzhen, China) will soon provide its customers with “wide color gamut” televisions based on QD Vision’s Color IQTM quantum dot technology. Color IQ solutions enable television and monitor manufacturers to deliver products capable of showing millions more colors than today’s 4K displays. Tongfang, which markets many of its products under the popular Seiki brand, will demonstrate its 55” 4K Ultra HD Color IQ-based TVs at IFA, Hall 6.2, Booth 204.
“Tongfang is committed to producing products that deliver stunning television picture quality and exceptional color reproduction at an affordable price,” said Matt Mazzuchi, Vice-president of Market and Business Development, QD Vision. “We are thrilled to add Tongfang to the growing list of industry leaders that have chosen QD Vision’s Color IQ solution in their next-generation of displays.”
“QD Vision’s Color IQ solution is the only wide color gamut solution that delivers world-class color at a highly competitive price,” said Ryan Chuang, PM Director, Tongfong Global, LTD. “We at Tongfang are looking forward to bringing these stunning new televisions to market worldwide.”
QD Vision’s Color IQ quantum dot technology enables display manufacturers to deliver a much broader palette of colors to achieve more life-like and enjoyable viewing experiences. The characteristics of Color IQ technology enable it to deliver full-gamut coverage for today’s wide range of displays while also addressing the need for next generation capabilities such as Rec 2020.
