Abstract:
The Nominations submission period for RUSNANOPRIZE 2015 is expanded, new deadline announced by directorate is September 11, 2015. This year the Prize will be awarded for research conducted in the fields of energy efficiency and green technologies.
RUSNANOPRIZE is awarded annually to the authors of scientific and technological developments and inventions in the field of nanotechnology that have been applied in mass production with a yearly turnover of at least $10 million.
The Prize Laureate is selected by means of International Prize Awarding Committee memebers’ voting. Twenty outstanding scientists and major international corporations’ representatives from Russia, Japan, Germany, Switzerland, China, USA, Canada and the Netherlands have formed the Award Committee of the RUSNANOPRIZE in 2015.
Scientists and inventors are awarded with the monetary prize, award symbols, certificates and badges. The company that had implemented the technology into mass production and has achieved commercial success through the implementation is awarded with prize symbol and certificate. The monetary part of the Prize amounts to RUR 3 000 000.
Russian and foreign legal entities, as well as individuals are eligible to submit nominations for the Prize, except members of the International Prize Awarding Committee. Self-nominations are also accepted.
Applications are accepted and registered by the Prize Directorate at rusnanoprize(at)forinnovations.org in strict compliance with the nomination form till September 11, 2015.
