Home > Press > Iranian Paint Industry Shows Great Interest in Nano-Based Products
Abstract:
The Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council introduced its nano-based achievements in the paint industry during the 12th International Paint, Resin, Coatings and Composites Fair in Tehran in December 2012.
At the exhibition, the commercialized nanotechnology-based products were introduced by Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council, including traffic nanopaint made by Reef Iran Chemical Complex and Pishgaman Fanavari Asia Company, self-cleaning photocatalytic nanopaint made by Nili Fam Company, nanocoating paint made by Pooshesh San'at Nanofan Company, and antibacterial paint made by Uranus Company.
Over 45 requests from the visitors were received by Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council's stall in this fair. Most of the requests were about the nano additives of the paint, production of paints based on nanotechnology, application of nano master-batches in composite industries, application of nanocomposite in auto industry, anti-corrosion nanocoatings inside the pipes, and building insulators.
20 foreign countries, including Italy, Ukraine, Taiwan, Korea, Turkey, China, and France as well as Iran participated in the 12th International Paint, Resin, Coatings and Composites Fair, and they presented their achievements in paint, resin, and composite industries.
