Abstract:
The Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council presented the country's activities and achievements in the fields of novel technologies, including nanotechnology, in the 14th China High-Tech Fair held at the International Fairground of Shenzhen, Gwang Dong Province, in China from November 15 to 21, 2012.
Among the Iranian nanotechnology achievements which went on display in the fair mention can be made of the following issues:
o Sinadoxosome anti-cancer drug made by Exir Nano Sina Company
o Insulating nanopaint made by Pooshesh San'at Nanofan Company
o Welding electrodes made by Artash Composite Company
o Three-layered silent sewage pipes made by Vahid Pipe and Junctions Company
o Ethylene nanoadsorbent sachets made by Middle Eastern Bio Researchers Company
o Disinfecting solution for wound washing made by Chitotech Company
o Nano Fluid made by Nano Pooshesh Felez Company
It was the first time that the Iranian companies active in the field of novel technologies took part in China High-Tech Fair. In addition to Iran other countries, including Russia, Germany, Ireland, Hungary, Belgium, the Philippines, New Zealand, Denmark, France, Canada and India also displayed their scientific achievements in the fields of novel technologies in the Fair.
In addition to introducing nanotechnology achievements and activities, some other activities in various fields of novel technologies such as medicine, petroleum, gas, and petrochemistry, electronics, and medical equipment were put on display in Iran pavilion too.
