Abstract:
The Institute for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology of Sharif University of Technology will hold the Second Conference on Nanostructured Solar Cells on October 18, 2012.

The conference is due to be held in Faculty of Physics of Sharif University of Technology in order to create an appropriate environment for idea exchange and discussion between nanotechnology researchers and technologists.
Among the objectives of the one-day conference, mention can be made of interaction between university and industry in the field of the production of nanostructured solar cells, introducing the activities carried out in this field, making connection between the active researchers and commercial companies, and producing and selling the equipment produced by research companies.
The scopes of the conference are as follows:
o Dye solar cells
o Sensitive or quantum dot solar cells
o Organic and polymeric solar cells
o Thin layer solar cells
Also, exhibition will held parallel to the conference with the participation of companies active in the field of research and production of solar cells. Researchers and university students are required to submit their article abstracts to the conference until the end of September 21, 2012.
