Pixelligent Technologies, an innovator in manufacturing nanocrystal additives for the electronics, semiconductor and industrial markets, announced today the addition of Daniel Russell as Vice President of Manufacturing & Operations. Dan will be responsible for managing the manufacturing and engineering team, scaling-up and optimizing nanocrystal production, and will be a key member of Pixelligent's executive team.

"Dan is a seasoned manufacturing executive that has been responsible for designing and implementing successful pilot and full-scale manufacturing facilities worldwide. It took us nearly a year to fill this role, and I am confident that Dan is the right person to optimize and begin implementing our full-scale production plans over the next 12 months. We have made a number of key senior executive hires recently, and with the addition of Dan Russell, the management team is now complete," commented Craig Bandes, President and CEO of Pixelligent Technologies.

With more than twenty years of experience in global manufacturing operations, Dan brings an exceptional set of manufacturing, engineering, and management skills to Pixelligent. He has extensive experience designing and growing manufacturing facilities for both Fortune 500 and high-tech companies in the electronic materials industry. Prior to joining Pixelligent, Dan was the Vice President of International Operations at Evergreen Solar, where he was responsible for establishing, growing, and improving the efficiency of worldwide operations. Prior to Evergreen, Dan held management level positions in the engineering and manufacturing groups at Honeywell International and Texas Instruments. Dan earned a Masters in Management from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a BS in Ceramic Engineering from Alfred University.
