Abstract:
The Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council (INIC) affiliated to the presidential office is due to attend the third international exhibition on energy saving and urban electronic management to be held in Tehran from July 14 to 16 in a bid to display a number of achievements in area of nanotechnology. 
INIC seeks to participate in this exhibition in order to promote public information on the applications of nanotechnology to attract people to these kinds of products, promote manufacturing culture, introduce the efforts made concerning nanotechnology for energy and electronic management, make the industrialists familiar with nanotechnology and persuade them to invest in this area, detect and trace interesting plans within the scope of nanotechnology and introduce the potentials of applying nanotechnology in relevant industries.
Using nanomaterials for fuel consumption decrease, thermal insulations for decreasing energy consumption, nanotechnology application in LED and OLED, and utilizing nanotechnology for the production of new generation of solar and fuel cells are the topics to be covered by INIC in this exhibition.
This is the fourth time INIC attends professional exhibitions relevant to nanotechnology in 2011. The INIC has earlier attended three exhibitions, namely, 'Agricultural, food, and relevant industries exhibition (Agro food)', 'The second exhibition on humidity, thermal, optical, acoustic, and corrosion insulation equipments and accessories' and 'The nineteenth international exhibition on tiles, ceramic, and sanitary Chinese' held in May and June.
