NanoSperse Achieves AS9100 Certification

USA | Posted on June 9th, 2011

As part of their ongoing commitment to quality, NanoSperse proudly announces the achievement of AS9100 certification. This distinction confirms the implementation and registration of a quality management system designed to meet the complex needs and unique demands of the aerospace industry.

Established in 1999 by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and the European Association of Aerospace Industries, the AS9100 standards have evolved to become widely adopted by the industry as a means to maintain and improve quality throughout the supply chain. "Very few nanomaterial companies in the world have accomplished AS9100 registration, and NanoSperse is pleased to be among the first," stated Arthur Fritts, President and CEO. "Achieving an AS9100 certified quality management system will benefit our clients. It is evidence of our commitment to providing a true commercialization pathway for new nanocomposites."

About NanoSperse
Founded in 2004, NanoSperse is a design and manufacturing company dedicated to improving durability, reliability, and functionality of composites using nanotechnology. Their state-of-the-art facility opened in 2009 and is located within the Dayton, Ohio regional hub of aerospace innovation. NanoSperse is a leader in the emerging field of nanomaterials and widely recognized for their expertise in dispersion technology. "NanoSperse has registered our design and development processes as well as our manufacturing processes," said Fritts. "This AS9100 Rev. C certification helps to provide assurance to our customers that dollars spent on early design and prototyping activities can quickly transition to full scale production, resulting in a high quality, consistent supply of nanocomposites for their proprietary needs."
