Abstract:
Picosun Oy, Finland-based global manufacturer of state-of-the-art Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) systems, joined forces with other high profile Finnish high-tech companies to boost India's emerging clean technology markets with world-leading know-how on issues such as wind power, water management and nanotechnology solutions for green and sustainable development at the Delhi Sustainable Development Summit (DSDS) February 3rd - 5th, Delhi, India 2011.
"India is one of Finland's most important trade partners in Asia and one of the main markets of the Finnish environmental industry," says Finland's Environment Minister Paula Lehtomäki at the press briefing organized by Cleantech Finland on the sidelines of the summit.
Leading Finnish companies including Picosun are preparing to drastically enlarge their footprint on India's rapidly growing market in environmental technologies, building on the long tradition of Finnish activities and investments in that country. "Finland is the leader in green technologies. We have the right technology and know-how and we are keen to share it with India," Minister Lehtomäki told the press. "India is becoming very important in future ALD research and manufacturing. Picosun has the pioneering experience in the field of ALD technology and we have recently signed two new distribution agreements to address the needs of the booming ALD market in India," added Picosun's Application Director, Dr. Wei-Min Li. Picosun is now represented in India by R. R. Texknit Pvt Ltd in New Delhi and Specialise Instruments Marketing Company in Mumbai.
