Abstract:
The Third National Congress on Textile and Clothing is due to be held in the Yazd branch of the Islamic Azad University in central Iran in association with Young Researchers Club on February 24 to 25, 2011. 
The objectives of the Congress include presentation of the researchers' achievements, creation of opportunities to study the solutions to the industrial challenges, extension of the scientific and research environment, development and improvement of the educational and research potential in the field of textile and clothing, creation of a connection between researchers and industrialists and introduction of the abilities of the Iranian researchers in textile industry.
Application of nanotechnology in textile industry is another subject to be discussed in the Congress.
Also, parallel to the Congress, there will be held other activities, including educational workshops on textile and textile achievements exhibition.
