Home > Press > Iranian City Utilizes Nanotechnology for Traffic Paintings
Abstract:
The urban passages and public spaces in Naqadeh city in northwestern Iran were traffic-marked with nano traffic paints.
The production line for mass production of nano traffic paints was inaugurated for the first time, through the efforts of experts at Asia Technology Pioneers Co. Ltd.
"Nano traffic paint has received the symbolic Nano Mark from the INIC and will be mass produced and offered to the market," Sajjad Dibayee Asl, executive manager with Asia Technology Pioneers Co. Ltd., said to the news service of INIC.
Reinforced with nanoparticles, the improved nano traffic paints are more durable against erosion and scratches compared to conventional cold traffic paints. Moreover, the new paints can compete with their conventional counterparts in terms of the price and quality and so far they have gained approval from municipalities and domestic contractors.
"This product and its synthesis equipments meet world's contemporary standards of traffic paints," Dibayee went on to say.
"Through tireless efforts, the company has produced and offered technical nano traffic paints which reduce costs and improve efficiencies in public spaces traffic painting," Dibayee added.
Siami, the mayor of Naqadeh city, admired the high durability of the nanopaints, and said, "All in all, we are pleased with the project in terms of its engineering and costs. And according to the Asia Technology Pioneers Co. Ltd., these paints last for 1.5 times longer than ordinary paints. We hope to see the satisfying performance of the paints in the near future."
