NN-Labs, LLC Announces Immediate Availability of Qshift Coral Technology Enabling Compromise-Free High Quality, High Efficiency LED Lighting

Fayetteville, AR | Posted on June 17th, 2010

Qshift Coral comprises specially engineered colloidal nanocrystals (quantum dots) to finely tune light such that the color of the light can be precisely controlled. Specifically, Qshift Coral technology makes lighting warmer and of higher quality, while reducing energy consumption for the same Lumen output compared with traditional phosphor-based warm white lighting.

Qshift technology is available exclusively through NNCrystal US Corporation. NNCrystal works with leading luminaire manufacturers to develop and deliver custom solutions that maximize energy efficiency and light quality. Luminaire products that leverage Qshift Coral technology are now available from Renaissance Lighting. "We are very pleased to have Renaissance Lighting as an early adopter of our Qshift technologies in their products. Their unwavering commitment to delivering optimal performance along with the best look in solid-state lighting was a key motivation for us," said Dr. Suresh Sunderrajan, President of NNCrystal US Corporation.
