'Reshaping Portable Power Using Nano Materials' Focus of Mr. Fisher's Presentation at Sixth Annual Symposium on 'Nanotechnology: State of The Art & Applications'
Contour Energy Systems, an innovative portable power company commercializing next-generation battery systems, announced today that CEO Joe Fisher will present at the IEEE Nanotechnology Council Sixth Annual Symposium on May 18 in Santa Clara, CA. Participating in the "Nano-Enabled Energy" session, Mr. Fisher will discuss the future of next-generation battery systems in a presentation titled, "Reshaping Portable Power Using Nano Materials."
The session will be chaired by Dr. Geetha Dholakia, a senior research associate with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Santa Clara University. Joining Mr. Fisher on the panel will be James Gee, distinguished member of technical staff, Applied Materials, Co., who will speak on "Nano-enabled Solar," along with Thomas Daue, president, Smart Material Corporation, who will speak on "Energy Harvesting Systems Using Piezo-electric Macro Fiber Composites."
