Zecotek Photonics Inc. (TSX-V:ZMS) (Frankfurt:W1I) today announced that it has received the prestigious Frost & Sullivan 2009 Enabling Technology Award in the PET (positron emission tomography) and PET/CT (computed tomography) medical imaging markets. Zecotek received this Award in recognition of the Company's research and development and clinical validation achievements for its next-generation scintillation crystals and solid-state photo detector technology.
