Green Earth Technologies’ G-LUBE is Ready for Retail

STAMFORD, CT | Posted on September 16th, 2008

Green Earth Technologies (Pink Sheets:GETG) today announced that its innovative G-LUBE™ Lubricant Penetrating Oil, which is the green solution for freeing sticky mechanisms and unlocking frozen parts, is now available. The multi-purpose, multi-surface, patent-pending lubricant penetrating oil is made with American grown base oils and uses the power of nanotechnology to deliver a product that meets the standard "Ultimate Biodegradable," ASTM's highest biodegradability ranking (2.1 ASTM D-5864). The "no-squeak" G-LUBE™ lubricates and cleans while driving out moisture and protecting against rust and corrosion.

In recent testing conducted by a nationally recognized independent research and testing facility, G-LUBE™ biodegraded at a rate of 78% in just 16 days (final biodegradation will be higher). This qualifies G-LUBE™ as "Ultimate Biodegradable," the ASTM standard that requires that a material must degrade a minimum of 60% in 28 days. The independent testing facility also compared G-LUBE™ head to head for performance against the leading lubricant and penetrating oil brand. Those tests revealed that G-LUBE™ was comparable on all performance criteria and was better than the leading brand when it came to the properties of "green."

Jeff Marshall, CEO of Green Earth Technologies stated, "We are excited to enter the billion-dollar Penetrating Oil market that today is serviced by a handful of products that are minor variations of the similar old formulas. Our G-LUBE is unique because we start with an "Ultimate Biodegradable" Base Oil that has superb lubricating, cleansing and penetrating qualities and then we add the components to displace moisture and fight corrosion and rust. Not only is the product environmentally safe and better for the health of the user compared to the competition, but the end result is a product that is simply superior in cost and performance."

There is added importance of using "Eco-Friendly" lubricants when the oil is dispersed into the environment and unable to be recycled. G-LUBE™ has also replaced the traditional propellants (CO2 & Propane) with food-grade Nitrogen which is non-toxic, non-flammable and environmentally friendly. G-LUBE™ reduces the user's carbon footprint because it is "Ultimate Biodegradable" and "Environmentally Friendly." Green Earth's motto is: "SAVE THE EARTH - SACRIFICE NOTHING."
