(Pink Sheets: GETG), a manufacturer and marketer of environmentally friendly consumer products, today formed GET Manufacturing Inc., a Detroit-based wholly owned subsidiary, that will manufacture, package and distribute the company's "G"-branded automotive appearance and performance products. Green Earth Technologies Establishes GET Manufacturing for Final Production, Packaging and Distribution of G-Branded Automotive Products

STAMFORD, CT | Posted on February 22nd, 2008

GET Manufacturing will provide 100% of GET's production needs including final manufacture, logistics, purchasing, bottling, labeling, boxing, quality control and assurance, inventory, distribution, customer support and all EDI functions required to service retailers and distributors. The facility will utilize an automated bottling and packaging line with a capacity of 240 units per minute which equates to $1 million in sales per day.

Earlier this month, Green Earth Technologies entered into strategic partnerships for source materials and preliminary manufacturing with Inventek Colloidal Cleaners, LLC and Bio-Tec Fuel and Chemical, LLC. Inventek will support the production of automotive appearance products including carwash and windshield rain repellent. Bio-Tec Fuel and Chemical, LLC will support the production of GET's automotive performance products including 2-cycle motor oils, all grades of automotive motor oils and marine motor oils.

Jeff Marshall, President & CEO of Green Earth Technologies, stated, "The establishment of our manufacturing and packaging subsidiary in the retail distribution hub of Detroit, Michigan is expected to ensure ample supply of G-Branded products to meet current and anticipated future demand. Combined with our recently announced sourcing relationships with Inventek Colloidal Cleaners and Bio-Tec Fuel and Chemicals, the manufacturing, packaging and distribution capabilities of GET Manufacturing sets the stage for G-Branded products to hit retail shelves starting now."

Ron Lipson, President of GET Manufacturing, stated, "We successfully completed the necessary manufacturing trials and have established a support system to produce the 18 initial SKUs of G-Branded products to fill orders in case, pallet and truckload lots. GET Manufacturing will execute all essential logistics from packaging to distribution, billing and collection that will enable Green Earth's products to reach the market."
