Abstract:
Toyocolor Co., Ltd. (President and Representative Director, Hironori Sakai) today announced that it will showcase a new lineup of carbon nanotube (CNT)-related materials at nano tech 2015, the 14th International Nanotechnology Exhibition & Conference. The trade exhibition, the world's largest event for nanotechnology, will be held at the Tokyo Big Site in Tokyo, from January 28 to 30, 2015. This is Toyocolor's second consecutive appearance at nano tech.

Toyocolor to Launch New Carbon Nanotube Materials at nano tech 2015

Tokyo, Japan | Posted on January 24th, 2015

Visitors to the Toyocolor booth at 5E-15, East Hall, will get a chance to see the latest developments in the company's nanotechnology-related products and solutions based on Toyo Ink Group's core technologies, in particular its original dispersion technology.

Key Products on Display

Lionanoc™ series of CNT jet black coatings and inks, conductive inks and transparent conductive materials will be on display at the Toyocolor booth. Lionanoc jet black coatings and inks are capable of imparting a luxurious black color to end-products due to their flat permeability characteristics in the visible light region.
Lionanoc conductive inks retain maximum CNT and resin properties as CNT dispersion is performed without a dispersant.
Lionanoc transparent conductive coatings combine high conductivity with high transparency.

Toyocolor will showcase its Lioplax™ series of carbon black compounds and high conductive compounds formed by using Toyocolor's unique CNT design to facilitate the dispersion of various types of binders and solvents. Lioplax carbon black compounds give a luxurious black color to automobile interiors, electronics casings and other surfaces, due to an optical confinement effect generated in the CNT network.
Lioplax high conductive compounds demonstrate high conductivity while having a low density of carbon nanotubes.

Also on display will be the LIOACCUM™ series of dispersions for Li-ion batteries and carbon coatings. Under the LIOACCUM™ brand, Toyo Ink's ONESHOT WANISU™ series of dispersants for Li-ion anodes drastically reduce the electrode slurry mixing time in the battery manufacturing process. LIOACCUM carbon coatings enhance adhesion of substrate and active materials, and prevent corrosion of substrates.

In addition, Toyocolor will highlight a wide array of functional dispersions to meet the functional requirements of customers' applications, based on the company's original nano-dispersion technology and damageless dispersion technology of metal particles.
