Abstract:
The Fourth Conference on Nanostructured Solar Cells is due to be held by the Institute for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology and the Solar Energy Center at Sharif University of Technology on 13 November 2014.
The conference gathers scientific groups and researchers who are active in the field of solar cells. The five key speakers of the conference are as follows: Dr. Tayyebeh Ameri from University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany, Dr. Noushin Mir from University of Zabol, Iran, Dr. Meisam Pazooki from Uppsala University, Sweden, Dr. Hamed Azimi from University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany, and Dr. Ali Dabiriyan from École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland.
The day after the conference, a workshop on solar cells will be held in Department of Physics on Friday, 14 November 2014. The workshop is aimed at sharing methods and techniques for the production, analysis, and simulation of solar cells by people who have great amount of experience in this regard.
Topics of the workshops and the speakers are as follows:
1. Perovskyte solar cells: basics and production methods, Dr. Meisam Pazooki, Uppsala University, Sweden
2. Analysis of solar cells, Dr. Ali Dabiriyan, École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland
3. Monte Carlo method and its application in calculating electron transfer properties in mesoporous layers, Dr. Yaser Abdi, University of Tehran, Iran
4. Sorption calculations and light management in solar cells, Dr. Ali Dabiriyan, École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland.
