Abstract:
The Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council participated in Iran Agro Food 2014 Exhibition in association with five companies active in the field of nanotechnology in agriculture and foodstuff industries and introduced its achievements in agriculture and foodstuff industries.
In the exhibition, the following companies presented and introduced their nanotechnology-based products: Nano Fanavaran Khavar (industrial filtration device), Baspar Pishrafteh Sharif (nanocomposite packaging), Payam Avaran Nanofanavari Farda Negar (nanocavitation device), Zist Pazhoohan Khavar Miyaneh (ethylene adsorbent), and Nanofanavari Zisti Engineering Company (nano-toxicants).
Over 150 meetings were held during the exhibition in order to purchase nanotechnology-based products. In addition, 50 cooperative meetings were held in line with the creation of cooperation with some institutes and plants active in the fields of agriculture and foodstuff to fulfill the needs of industry in packaging and nanotechnology-based fertilizers.
700 companies and domestic production units and 165 international companies or their representatives participated in the 21st International Exhibition on Agriculture, Foodstuff, Machinery, and Related Industries (Iran Agro Food 2014), and they presented their latest products and services.
