Space Industry Leaders Countdown To Space Tech Expo 2014 – Opening Next Week: Space Tech Expo and Conference 2014 opens its doors at the Long Beach Convention Center, Long Beach April 1 – 3

Long Beach, CA | Posted on March 30th, 2014

With participation from NASA, SpaceX, Boeing, Sierra Nevada Corporation, ATK, Lockheed Martin, DARPA, Federal Aviation Administration, Space Systems/Loral, Thales Alenia Space, United Launch Alliance, XCOR, Commercial Spaceflight Federation, plus many more, the show offers unprecedented access to the industry's leading companies.

The number of exhibitors has increased year-over-year by 12% since Space Tech Expo's inception in 2012 to over 150 organizations. To see the full list of industry suppliers exhibiting at Space Tech Expo view the exhibitor list at www.spacetechexpo.com.

Expo attendee numbers have also grown significantly. Over 1,000 companies from across commercial spacecraft, satellite systems, launch vehicle and spacecraft design, engineering and testing attended the 2013 event, up 15% from the prior year.

2014 advance registration figures counted this week revealed broader than anticipated space industry involvement from R&D scientists, entrepreneurs and program management through to C-level attendees, say organizers.

"Another key trend we are seeing is the increasing involvement of the design, manufacturing and test engineering community, including senior engineering management participation from the primes," according to Gordy McHattie, Event Director. "There's more packed into Space Tech Expo & Conference than ever before to ensure time out of the office is well spent," he added.

Benefits include:

• Exhibition hall, for direct access to 150+ industry leaders
• Networking reception on Tuesday April 1 from 5pm
• Free-to-Attend Sessions in the exhibition hall, offering perspectives on key issues
• Comprehensive Space Tech Conference agenda, with expert insights from across the industry

Two shows in one - Space Tech Expo is co-locating with the Aerospace Electrical Systems Expo, the only show dedicated to on-board electrical power
