Abstract:
CRAIC Technologies, a leading manufacturer of UV-visible-NIR microspectrometers, today released its Lambdafire-R™ Raman microspectroscopy and imaging software package. Written specifically for Raman microspectrometers running Window 8® , this software is designed to collect, analyze and process both Raman microspectra™ and images from CRAIC Raman microspectrometers . Lambdafire-R™ is designed for both industrial processes and scientific research. It is simple to use yet contains many advanced spectroscopic, imaging and data analysis features.

New Integrated Raman Spectroscopy & Imaging Software from CRAIC Technologies: CRAIC Technologies introduces Lambdafire-R™ integrated Raman microspectroscopy & imaging software for Windows 8 ®

San Dimas, CA | Posted on March 26th, 2014

"Our customers want to use our Lambdafire-R™ software with the latest generation of 64-bit processors and Windows 8® for even greater performance. The Lambdafire-R™ software was developed in response to customer requests for a high performance package to control CRAIC Raman microspectrometers situated on both the manufacturing floor as well as those in the R&D laboratory. Numerous features are provided to address both of these functions while maintaining the powerful analytical capabilities" says Dr. Paul Martin, President.

Lambdafire-R™ is part of a complete solution that combines advanced 64-bit software written specifically to take advantage of the latest generation of CRAIC Raman microspectrometers, such as the new Apollo Raman™, and the latest versions of Windows. Lambdafire-R™ software allows the user to control CRAIC Raman microspectrometers and to acquire high quality images and Raman spectra of microscopic samples. The software also incorporates many advanced data analysis features that can be used to analyze Raman microspectra™ and images. Designed for the production environment as well as the laboratory, it incorporates a number of sophisticated tools for analyzing the Raman data. It also features touch screen control, a native Windows 8® feature, automation control and much more. Additional modules may be incorporated to add such capabilities as spectral mapping of surfaces.
