Leti CEO Laurent Malier to Discuss Technologies that Are Enabling The Internet of Things at Leti Days Grenoble 2014, June 25-26

Grenoble, France | Posted on February 20th, 2014

The two-day event on June 25th and 26th, based on the theme "Internet of Things, from sensors to zero power," will feature plenary sessions on June 25th, and breakout, parallel sessions on the 26th detailing specific Leti technologies that can enable the IoT.

The Internet of Things represents a set of sensor systems and microelectronics in objects, things and devices around the world that communicate with each other. Leti can play a major role in the development of the IoT by providing sensors, energy-harvesting systems or dedicated communications technologies for the IoT, primarily in markets such as wellness and health, transportation, smart cities and smart manufacturing.

Other event topics include:

· IoT challenges and market opportunities

· Wellness & health, the new connected frontier

· Connected transportation for smart cities

· Leti positioning and value proposition in the IoT

· New sensors and communications for new uses

· More power with less energy

Leti Days annually attracts broad participation from international and European CEOs, CTOs, marketing and strategy directors; R&D managers, IT and semiconductor companies, innovative SMEs, end-user companies, research institutes, startups and international media.

This year, Leti Days Grenoble also will feature IoT related Leti workshop on memory on June 24th.

In addition, the 16th CATRENE DTC (Cluster for Application and Technology Research in Europe on NanoElectronics - Design Technology Conference) will present the latest results from the CATRENE and ENIAC projects on June 23rd and 24th.
