Abstract:
Pharmaceutical companies are investigating new methods of delivering drugs that spare healthy cells and focus only on killing cancer cells. They spend 135 billion dollars a year just on R and D. The slow progress is due to the time and effort it takes to get an answer. This mean that better cancer drug is decades away instead of a few years away.

CRIXlabs promo presentation of NuSilico software created by Nanobotmodels: Nanobotmodels animation studio presents new CRIXlabs presentations about NuSilico software!

Nanotechnology is the most promising technology to spare healthy cells for reduced side effects. And yet, this research is moving slowly due to the sheer time and money needed to complete experiments. One solution is software.

Researchers have been trying to find a software solution for some time now, but their approach has been to tackle modeling the entire body; nearly impossible to accurately complete do to the shear number of assumed, non-testable parameters and thousands of unique equations needed to produce an answer.

CRIXlabs engineers approached this problem by going through countless experiments looking into the chemistry and physical nature of drugs and where they end up in the body. We then organized this data based on the way experiments were conducted and their comparison with similar data.

The researcher followed the CRIXlabs systematic approach to building nanoparticles and together with the NuSilico simulations was able to pick the right nanoparticle to start with, necessary size, shape, and surface charge within the abilities of her lab.

Nanobotmodels animation studio in collaboration with CRIXlabs have created artistic presentations of the NuSilico software.
