Abstract:
Nano Club Stall is one of the most crowded and interesting stalls in Iran Nano 2013, and similar to the previous five years, the presence of students active in the field of nanotechnology and their achievements in this year's Festival has refreshed and created excitement in the 6th Int'l Nanotechnology Festival (Iran Nano 2013).

Students Run Nano Club Stall in Iran Nano 2013

Tehran, Iran | Posted on October 8th, 2013

The Nano Club has participated in the Festival by presenting the following main sections: Students' Projects, Nano Experiments, Nano Publications, and Introducing the Club's Activities.

According to Fa'ezeh Eslamipour, the manager of Nano Club stall, 70% of the stall is run by students in this Festival. One of the most important differences in this stall with the previous festivals is displaying of students' projects.

Among other sections of Nano Club, mention can be made of students' laboratories. In this Festival, the production mechanism, final product, and the applications of the product are shown to the students as well as the procedure of the experiment itself.

The manager of Nano Club expressed that the same laboratories will be held in provincial exhibitions too. According to her, nanotechnology exhibitions have so far been organized in 19 provinces of the country, and the other provinces will hold exhibition this year too.

A number of seven laboratories have been equipped with nanotechnology devices in seven provinces and their output have been put on display in Iran Nano 2013.

In this Festival, 44 students' projects and achievements have been presented from which 22 projects were carried out in Tehran. The 22 projects from Tehran will be displayed on the first two days of the Festival while the other 22 projects from other provinces will be showcased on the third, fourth, and fifth days of the Festival.
