Abstract:
The 2013 Fall Conference of the Institute of Environmental Sciences and Technology (IEST) will kick off November 11 in St. Louis, Missouri, and run through November 14. The IEST Fall Conference provides a single source of contamination control knowledge for a multitude of industries and offers many valuable educational experiences, including leading-edge continuing education training courses and interactive Working Group meetings.

2013 IEST Fall Conference set for November 11–14 in St. Louis

Arlington Heights, IL | Posted on September 12th, 2013

The four-day conference will be held at the Hilton St. Louis at the Ballpark. Attendees will have opportunities to network with colleagues and leaders in industry, government, and academia.

The Continuing Education program includes the following contamination control courses:

· Cleanroom Operations for USP 797

· Understanding the ISO Series

· Testing to Determine the Classification of Air Cleanliness

· Application of ISO 14644-3

· Principles of Compounding Environments

Continuing education training courses are available either as stand-alone classes, combined into certificate programs, or as part of a four-day education passport. Registration for courses also includes unlimited admission to Working Group meetings.

Attendees may register for courses individually or take advantage of the Continuing Education Passport, which provides admittance to all five training courses at a substantial discount compared to a la carte registrations. With the Passport, attendees will earn 2.4 CEUs.

A Certificate in the ISO Series is awarded for attendance in these three courses: Understanding the ISO Series; Testing to Determine the Classification of Air Cleanliness; and Application of ISO 14644-3. Attendees who participate in all three of the courses included in this certificate will receive a CEU certificate of attendance.

Many IEST Working Groups will meet at this year's Fall Conference. Participating in a WG gives contamination control professionals the opportunity to share their knowledge on a particular subject, learn from others' experience and expertise, build relationships with key people in their field, and help develop a Recommended Practice (RP) that will be used by their industry peers for years to come. Detailed descriptions of Working Group activities can be found at the IEST website.

More information about the complete program and registration for the 2013 IEST Fall Conference is available at www.iest.org. Contact IEST by e-mail at or call (847) 981-0100.
