OE-A Elects New Board of Directors

Frankfurt, Germany | Posted on June 20th, 2013

The General Assembly of the OE-A took place on June 10th, 2013 at the Fraunhofer EMFT in Munich, Germany. The new board represents the entire value chain of this emerging industry.

Chairman:
Dr. Stephan Kirchmeyer, Heraeus Precious Metals GmbH & Co KG, Germany
Vice Chairman North America:
Stan Farnsworth, NovaCentrix, USA
Vice Chairman Asia:
Prof. Toshihide Kamata, AIST, Japan
Vice Chairman Europe:
Wolfgang Mildner, PolyIC GmbH & Co. KG, Germany
Additional board members:
Prof. Dr. Reinhard Baumann, pmTUC, Fraunhofer ENAS, Germany
Dr. Jeremy Burroughes, CDT Ltd, Great Britain
Dr. Peter Fischer, Plastic Logic, Germany
Thomas Kolbusch, Coatema Coating Machinery GmbH, GermanyJaap Lombaers, Holst Centre, The Netherlands
Dr. Davor Sutija, Thin Film Electronics ASA, Norway
Dr. Mark Verrall, Merck Chemicals Ltd., Great Britain

"In the past two years, we were able to significantly expand the international network of the OE-A along the entire value chain. The fact that the share of end-users among our members has grown disproportionately indicates that this young industry is now transitioning to mass production," says Dr. Stephan Kirchmeyer, who has been leading the OE-A as Chairman since 2011. He was reelected to the position for an additional two years. "The new board reflects the international, global reach and membership structure of the OE-A." Additional information on the OE-A and its members can be found in the new, fifth edition of the OE-A brochure; a limited number of OE-A brochures include an interactive cover page with integrated organic and printed electronics.
