Abstract:
Effective February 15, 2013 Raith and Vistec Lithography announce that they unite their worldwide activities for electron and ion beam lithography and nanofabrication instruments to form one solution provider. Raith has agreed to acquire Vistec Lithography from private equity firm Golden Gate Capital.
Customers benefit from complementary product range and worldwide expertise in support and sales
"Raith´s and Vistec Lithography´s product lines complement each other perfectly and build a most complete range of nanofabrication instruments," says Dr. Ralf Jede, CEO of Raith GmbH. "By bundling our activities under one roof, academic and industry customers will benefit from our conjoined know-how in electron and ion beam applications."

The established contact partners for Support, Service and Sales remain the same. All operational sites of Raith and Vistec Lithography in Dortmund (Germany), in Best (The Netherlands and its branches), in Ronkonkoma and Albany (USA) as well as in Hong Kong will be continued.
The joined forces will strengthen the company´s market presence in the future and lay the foundation for further product line development and growth.
