Home > Press > Liquipel Adds Guarantee to Watersafe Nano-Coating Products at CES: Announced at Booth 25936, South Hall; Billions in Hardware Damage to Be Saved
Abstract:
Liquipel LLC, the industry leader in Watersafe™ Technology, unveiled today the Liquipel Performance Guarantee Program, a repair and replacement program for US-based customers. The Liquipel Performance Guarantee protects consumers from accidental liquid damage to Liquipel-treated devices. The coverage excludes intentional submerging of devices in liquid. However, everyday life events that can cause liquid damage will be covered, such as: rain, splashing, sweat, dropping in the sink or toilet and spilled drinks. The new program, as well as deployment schedules, detailing the warranty coverage will be available in the first quarter of 2013. Plans call for the program to include additional countries outside the US.
Accidental water damage accounts for 28 percent of all cell phone failures experienced by consumers each year. Liquipel's mission, with its patent-pending nano-coating technology, is to protect consumer cell phones, tablet computers and other electronic devices from the economic loss and personal hardship caused by liquid damage.
"Liquipel is the market leader in technology that enhances the lifestyle of our customers. Our performance guarantee offers customers the security of knowing that if in the highly unlikely event their device is damaged by liquid, it will be repaired or replaced," said Rayford Higginbotham, President. He went on to state, "The performance of our latest 2.0 technology has far exceeded our expectations. Our guarantee is a tangible expression of our confidence in our products, and our on-going commitment to delighting our customers."
Using the latest advancements in nano-coatings, Liquipel's patent-pending process creates a liquid-repellant coating that is microscopic and becomes a part of the device. Liquipel is virtually untraceable and will not affect nor compromise the look, feel and performance of the device.
In other exciting news, Liquipel was recently named the Grand Award Winner in the Gadget category in Popular Science magazine's "Best of What's New" issue.
