Abstract:
Muri Silent Pipe for sewage water, produced by Vahid Industrial Group, was chosen as the best nanotechnology-based product in the year 2011 in the Products Section of Iran Nano Award Ceremony 2012.
Vahid Industrial Group has been producing various types of water and wastewater pipes for 3 years. It participated in Iran Nano 2012 held in Tehran early October. Muri Silent Pipe, produced by Vahid Industrial Group, consists of 3 layers. The middle layer is filled with nanoclay, which prevents the passage of sound through the water and wastewater pipes.
Biyouk Sahhaf Amin, the CEO of Vahid Industrial Group, elaborated on the procedure of production of silent pipes during the three years of the company's activity, and said, "We tried to produce all pieces required for the piping of buildings in the past three years." He also explained about the usage of silent pipes in Persian Gulf Complex project (the world's seventh largest shopping mall) in Shiraz.
"The quality of our products is in agreement with the European standards, and the pipes can compete in the Asian or European countries. We currently export our products to some Asian and European countries," he stated about the foreign market for the silent pipes produced by the company.
Vahid Industrial Group started its activity three years ago in association with Parsa Polymer Sharif Company. The engineers of the company succeeded in the production of a silent pipe that, according to them, allows the passage of only about 17 decibels, while the standard value for the sound in the house is about 20 decibels.
Vahid Industrial Group Company consists of three large factories which are all active under the brand 'Vahid'.
