Abstract:
What: The 31st Annual International Space Development Conference (ISDC)is sponsored by the National Space Society. The theme of this year's conference, Onward Upward, relates to NSS's vision of "people living and working in thriving communities beyond the Earth, and the use of the vast
resources of space for the dramatic betterment of humanity". It also reflects the need to strive for renewed emphasis on U.S. space exploration and development in the post-Shuttle era and within
NASA's current budgetary challenges.
