Abstract:
CRAIC Technologies, the worlds leading innovator of UV-visible-NIR microspectroscopy solutions, is proud to announce the addition of kinetic spectroscopy capabilities to its flagship product: the 20/20 Perfect Vision™ UV-visible-NIR microspectrophotometer. With the kinetic spectroscopy package, this system is able to monitor the full range spectra of a microscopic sample area over time and plot the results. Analysis of samples can be done by absorbance, reflectance and even optical emission from the deep UV to far into the near infrared spectral regions. Applications are numerous and include biological time resolved analysis to measuring the degradation of LED's over time, chemical reactions on metallic films and much more. The ability to analyze the time resolved spectra of microscopic sample areas with multiple spectroscopic techniques, makes the kinetic package for the 20/20 Perfect Vision™ the cutting-edge micro-analysis tool for any laboratory or manufacturing facility.

CRAIC Technologies Introduces Kinetic Microspectroscopy for the 20/20 PV™ UV-visible-NIR Microspectrophotometer

San Dimas, CA | Posted on January 10th, 2012

"CRAIC Technologies has long been an innovator in the field of UV-visible-NIR microanalysis. We have helped to advance the field of microscale analysis by constantly developing new instrumentation and software as well as with research and teaching. Adding kinetics and time-resolved microspectroscopy capabilities to the 20/20™ microspectrophotometer makes it the ideal tool for a laboratory or factory due its unique capabilities, high spatial resolution and sensitivity" states Dr. Paul Martin, President of CRAIC Technologies. "CRAIC Technologies microspectrophotometers are backed by years of experience in both designing, building and the using of this type of instrumentation for many types of microspectroscopic analysis."

The 20/20 Perfect Vision™ microspectrophotometer integrates an advanced, high speed spectrophotometer with a sophisticated UV-visible-NIR range microscope and powerful, easy-to-use software. When incorporating the kinetics microspectroscopy package, this flexible instrument can acquire data from microscopic samples by absorbance, reflectance or even emission spectroscopy over a range of time periods. The kinetic microspectroscopy feature allows the creation of three dimensional maps in which X and Y are the spectrum and Z is the time domain. With its kinetics capabilities, high sensitivity, durable design, ease-of-use and the experience of CRAIC Technologies in microanalysis, the 20/20™ microspectrophotometer is more than just a scientific instrument…it is a solution to your analytical challenges.
