Abstract:
Iran's Nanotechnology Students' Club (Nano Club) is due to hold four exhibitions in Semnan, Golestan, and Hamedan provinces in December 2011 and January 2012 in addition to the organization of the exhibition series of 'Nano Week' in the three provinces.
The allocation of two sections to the Third Nanoscience and Technology Olympiad for Students and Nanotechnology Reporters Club are among the characteristics of the exhibitions.
After the organization of seven exhibitions from exhibitions series of Nano Week in various provinces of the country, and the warm welcome of the students from the organizing provinces, the eighth, ninth, tenth, and eleventh exhibitions of Nano Week will be held in the following cities:
o Semnan Province, City of Semnan
o Semnan Province, City of Shahroud
o Golestan Province, City of Gorgan
o Hamedan Province, City of Hamedan
Among the educational programs that have been planned for the students from the said three provinces during the exhibitions, mention can be made of the organization of a seminar to introduce the basic concepts of nanoscience and technology, the exhibition of nanotechnology products in industries such as textile, agriculture, home appliances and hygiene, nanotechnology cinema, and the organization of students' ideas competition. Moreover, the students who are interested in participating in the Third Nanotechnology Olympiad for Students and in becoming a member of Nanotechnology Reporters Club can register in the exhibitions.
Nano Week exhibition is an educational-promotional activity that has been held by Nano Club in various provinces since 2009. This exhibition has so far been organized in North Khorassan, Hormozgan, Yazd, Khuzestan, Lorestan, Razavi Khorassan, and Fars provinces.
