Abstract:
Iran's Nanotechnology Initiative Council has provided the promotional entities with financial support of more than $100,000 to help them organize 405 promotional-educational programs by September 2011, reports said on Tuesday.
According to the report of Promotion Workgroup of Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council, a sum total of 405 promotional and educational programs have been organized in the first six months of 1390 (March 21-September 22, 2011), among which 83 courses and 87 seminars were at students level, 42 courses and educational seminars at high school level, and 96 promotional seminars and 97 specialized seminars at university students level.
The comparison of the amount of financial support provided for the provinces shows that promotional bodies located in the three provinces of Isfahan, Mazandaran and Tehran have received the majority of the financial support in the first six months of the current year.
According to the mentioned report, among the 405 organized promotional and educational programs, 383 were organized by companies and promotional bodies in various educational institutes while 21 were organized by academic centers and education centers for students.
NanoClub and Ariya Polymer Pishgam Company have organized the highest number of courses by holding 58 seminars and educational courses for students, and 56 promotional and specialized seminars for university students, respectively.
According to the Supportive Regulations of Promotional Workgroup of Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council, the organizers of the seminars and educational courses are provided with financial support at the two primary school students and university students' levels.
