4th Int'l Conference on Nanostructures in Iran Extends Deadline for Participants

Tehran, Iran | Posted on October 19th, 2011

The researchers are required to send their article abstracts to the Secretariat of the Conference before October 30, 2011. Registration without article submission can be carried out from January 5 to 10, 2012.

The Fourth International Conference on Nanostructures (ICNS4) is due to be organized by Sharif University of Technology on March 12 to 14, 2012, at the venue of the International College of Sharif University of Technology located on Kish Island.

According to the Secretariat of the Conference, more than 600 articles have so far been submitted to the conference since the beginning of the registration. The majority of the submitted articles were related to the field of nanocomposites. Among the objectives of the organization of this conference, mention can be made of the provision of an appropriate opportunity to introduce the latest developments in the field of nanostructures and strengthening the cooperation between the Iranian and foreign researchers in the field of nanotechnology.

The scopes of the conference are as follows,

- Synthesis and identification of nanostructured materials
- Carbon nanostructures
- Magnetic properties of nanostructures
- Mechanics of nanostructures
- Applications of nanostructures
- Theory, modeling, and computational methods
