Abstract:
The Head of Corridor of Technology to Market Services for Agents' Affairs introduced the structure and available services of the corridor to the knowledge-based firms and real technologists in a meeting held concurrently with the 7th Sheik Bahayee Technology-Builders' National Festival on May 11, 2011.

Governmental Corridor Supports Nanotechnology Plans, Ideas in Iran

Tehran, Iran | Posted on May 29th, 2011

The objective of the meeting was to introduce the structure and how the supporting organizations support the plans and ideas of technology-builders and job-creators.

Head of the Corridor of Technology to Market Services for Agents' Affairs Ahmad Talebiyan invited the researchers and nanotechnology students to use the advantages of the supportive facilities of the Corridor, and added, "Technologists and researchers can enjoy the present supports and facilities of Corridor of Technology to Market Services in form of a company."

Pointing to the various sections of the Corridor and available services in those sections, he continued, "Corridor of Technology to Market Services meets the needs of the knowledge-based companies for technological services by paying a part of the expenses. Firms and technologists are required to pass some stages in the Corridor in order to commercialize their plans and researches."

"The stages begin with the Nano-Scale Confirmation Station, and continue with other stages such as evaluation of the technology level, documentation, patenting in the international references, marketing, creating a business plan, and acquiring the required permits and standards. In the end, it leads to other sections such as technology guarantee fund, and station for loan and risky investment."

The Corridor of Technology to Market Services is formed by Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council in order to discover, organize, and complete the missing links of the commercialization of nanotechnology. The Corridor of Technology to Market Services is a wholly-made and integrated governmental structure, but the difference is that the private sector participates in the Corridor in the form of agent companies who provide technological services.
