The NanoFloridaTM 2011 Organizing Committee invites researchers from both academia and industry in the State of Florida to participate in NanoFlorida 2011, the 4th Annual Symposium on nanoscience and nanotechnology, being held September 30th to October 1st, 2011 at Florida International University in Miami, FL.

NanoFlorida 2011 will gather eminent scientists in the field of nanoscience and nanotechnology, and it will also be a student-friendly event where students can present their research. This meeting aims to create a forum for scientific exchange amongst researchers, help identify emerging challenges at the frontiers of nanoscience and technology, and provide a multidisciplinary educational forum consisting of established, new, and future engineers and researchers to discuss new ideas and concepts in the field of nanotechnology.

The event will be comprised of a plenary talk, keynote lectures, invited talks, contributed talks, and poster sessions to showcase research covering various nanoscience and nanotechnology topics.

We invite you to participate in this two-day symposium for exciting and engaging discussions in the areas of:
§ Nanomedicine, Nanobiotechnology and Nanobioengineering
§ Novel Nanomaterials and Devices
§ Nanotechnology for Energy Applications

Call for Papers
Authors are invited to submit a one page abstract in English. Abstracts should be submitted online through the NanoFlorida 2011 website at www.nanoflorida.fiu.edu. The site will open for submission of abstracts on April 30, 2011. The closing date for submission of abstracts is July 31, 2011. Student abstracts will be eligible for awards.
