Gujarat Technological University to conduct research in nanotech

Abstract:
Gujarat Technological University (GTU) will undertake research into nano technology as well as mobile applications in the near future. The decision was taken in a meeting that was attended by different professors and principals of engineering colleges at GTU on Friday.

GTU has established 20 innovation sankuls and 300 clubs across the state to promote industry- academia projects.

Principal of Chandkheda-based Vishwakarma Engineering College MR Patel said it was time to gear up for research in nano technology. "It is surely the next big thing, and we should not miss the opportunity" said Patel, who also heads the Naroda Sankul for innovation.
