Abstract:
Dr. Scott Rickert, President and CEO of Nanofilm, was a co-chair and featured presenter at the Horasis Annual Meeting in Zurich, Switzerland, January 25-26, 2011.
Horasis convened 100 of the most prominent global leaders, uniting the world's major stakeholders for an open debate on the future. The theme of the 2011 Horasis Annual Meeting was "Driving Towards Sustainable Growth." Participants engaged in a thorough discussion on how to conceptualize and enact sustainable growth.
Dr. Rickert was a presenter in a working session in which participants debated strategies to ensure sustainable growth for developed countries. Other presenters in the session included Yoshito Hori, Chairman, Globis Group, Japan; Boris Nemsik, Chief Executive Officer (ret), VimpelCom, Russia; andMartin Roll, President, Venture Republic, Singapore.
"I look forward to bringing Nanofilm expertise in nanotechnology to the global discussion of economic growth and sustainability," said Dr. Rickert. "Nanotechnology has a key role to play in strong and sustainable growth."
